
The Go North Music Festival is a music festival held on beautiful St. Joseph Island. Go North is a family-friendly event, with free entry for kids 12 and under. We feature a variety of talented and critically acclaimed musical acts from across Canada.
THURSDAY NIGHT Thursday night, kick things off with a fun evening of live music with a Country theme! Gates open at 7pm, music starts at 7:30pm. Kick of a great weekend with two great bands on our Timber Stage at the Centennial Grounds. Bring a folding chair and settle in for some great music, or get up and get dancing to these high energy acts!
FRIDAY Friday Night, the Richards Landing Community Night is held at the Centennial Grounds - Parade starts on HWY 548 at 7pm, followed by fresh baked pie, food vendors, kids games and games of chance - all in support of the Matthews Memorial Hospital NSHN Auxiliary to help provide equipment for the Hospital. After games end (8:30pm) the fun moves down to the waterfront Marina for the Boat Parade of Lights and a FREE live concert with rock n' roll covers. Want to keep the night going strong? SATURDAY Get your tickets here for SATURDAY, the Go North Music Festival gates open at 3:30pm with all your Go North favourites! This year’s headline act for Saturday is BIG SUGAR! Complete lineup to be announced. Five great bands will play Saturday for 2025!
The festival site features a large permanent bandshell with great views of the bands, lush green-space, all nestled in the center of old growth maple trees. The Centennial grounds are built for large events, and offer wide open spaces and room to stretch out and make a zone for you and your crew.We focus on featuring great food vendors. Saturday they will be serving up traditional favorites as well as gluten free and vegan options. Fresh wraps, fries and poutine, iced coffee, and all of your traditional BBQ favourites. Don't forget we offer ice cold locally-made and domestic beer and coolers. The Artisan Market showcases local artisans and producers selling hand made local goods. We have activities for kids and a kid’s stage featuring The Thinking Caps! Kids 12 and under are FREE! The family zone has interactive displays from Science North, games, crafts and a giant community mural project families can help with.
